Meet Our 2025 Headlining Band
The headlining performer of the 2025 Samhain Celtic New Year Festival is Na Rósaí Trio. Na Rósaí Trio is a Portland-based band featuring Preston Howard on Uilleann pipes and whistles; Richie Rosencrans on bouzouki, tenor guitar, and vocals; and Erik Killops on fiddle. Na RósaÍ performs traditional Irish, Appalachian, Scottish, Breton, and other Celtic and Folk music and songs. The band explores the links between the musical traditions of the Celtic regions and North America by arranging tunes from the two regions with a traditional sensibility. Celtic Quilt Raffle
Custom-designed Celtic quilt with beautiful, intricate hand-quilted knotwork. Lesli Ficker has created this one-of-a-kind quilt to be raffled at the Samhain Celtic New Year Festival to be held at the Willamette Heritage Center on Saturday, October 25th. Tickets will be $5.00 each, 5 for $20.00. The quilt is 72″ square.

Dear Friend, You are cordially invited to the Céilí of the Valley Society’s 10th annual Celtic New Year Samhain (pronounced SOW-in) Festival set for Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Willamette Heritage Center. This one-day festival celebrates the cultures of the seven Celtic Nations (Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, Brittany, Galicia, and Isle of Man) through live music, speakers, presentations, workshops, and immersive/hands-on activities that will be educational and fun for the whole community.
